LR A steel is a kind of hot rolled general tensile strength steel.
General-strength LR shipbuilding steel comes in 12 grades of
3 strengths,Grade A is one of the grades.
The LR grade A steel plates have yield strength of 235 MPa,
and ultimate tensile strength of 400-520 MPa.

ABS Grade AH36 Shipbuilding Steel Plate

Structural steel for ship hulls is divided into strength classes according to its
minimum yield strength: general strength structural steel and high strength structural steel.
